#TheBatteryShow
Venue: Wuxi, China
China's electric two-wheeler industry has undergone 20 years of development and is currently at a critical period of transformation and upgrading. New technologies such as lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and intelligent connectivity are emerging, accelerating the industry's transformation. According to research conducted by Startpoint Institute, driven by factors such as domestic shared battery swapping, new national standards, and overseas demand growth, China's electric two-wheeler sales are projected to exceed 54 million units by 2023. The trends of electrification, lightweighting, intelligence, and connectivity in the two-wheeler sector will continue to strengthen.
The electric two-wheeler and lightweight battery industry chain is set to undergo another wave of upgrades in 2023. The application of sodium-ion batteries in the electric two-wheeler sector will accelerate, while the penetration rate of lithium-ion batteries is expected to rebound after adjustments in 2022, aided by reduced costs of lithium battery materials and cells. In the future, a coexistence of lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries is anticipated for electric two-wheelers. Additionally, as the electric bicycle and battery industry chains are primarily concentrated in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta regions, the organizers have decided to continue providing a platform for communication and cooperation within the battery and electric bicycle industry. The conference will be held in Wuxi, a key hub for the electric bicycle industry in the Yangtze River Delta. The theme of the 3rd China (Li/Na-ion) Electric Bicycle Industry Ecological Conference and Lightweight Power Battery Technology Summit is "Lithium-Sodium Harmony, Driven by Innovation, Embracing Ecological Integration." The objective is to encourage new thinking in the industry and explore new development models that encompass cutting-edge technologies and integration of the lithium-ion, sodium-ion, two-wheeler, and shared battery swapping sectors along the entire industry chain.
Co-organized by Starting Point and China New Energy Entrepreneurs Club, this conference is scheduled to take place in Wuxi, China on August 25th, with an estimated attendance of over 600 guests.
