Against this backdrop, the preparation of the "Science Next" (SCINEXT) series of academic conferences aims to establish a platform for promoting interdisciplinary fusion, cross-disciplinary development, and knowledge translation.


The "2023 Hangzhou ChemMat+ International Summit" is one of the SCINEXT series summits jointly initiated by WILEY Publishing Group and Zhejiang University of Technology. The themed conference focuses on chemistry and materials, targeting the forefront of global scientific and technological advances, economic battlefields, national major demands, and people's health and well-being. It showcases the latest research progress and achievements in the field of energy chemistry and materials from both domestic and international perspectives.


The conference will primarily discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by energy chemistry and materials as emerging disciplines in the context of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality." By integrating resources and collaborating effectively, it aims to promote discipline development, talent cultivation, technological advancement, and industrial upgrading within the energy sector. The summit will feature various forms of knowledge exchange, including sub-sessions on advanced battery materials and chemistry, solid-state electrolytes and battery materials, energy conversion materials, energy catalytic materials, carbon materials and energy chemistry, advanced materials characterization and computation, as well as special forums such as the SCINEXT Youth Forum, Nanomaterial Assembly and Chemistry Forum, and Journal Forum.
