Hydrogen energy is a secondary energy source that is abundant, green, low-carbon, and widely applicable. It is gradually becoming one of the important carriers for global energy transition and development. In recent years, fuel cells, hydrogen production, and related technologies with proton-conducting materials as their core have experienced rapid development. Solid-state proton-conducting ceramics with excellent proton conductivity can be used in reversible solid oxide fuel cells, hydrogen sensors, water vapor sensors, hydrogen pumps, hydrogen separation membranes, hydrogenation and dehydrogenation of organic compounds, ammonia synthesis under atmospheric conditions, and direct ammonia fuel cells. They have significant application value and are receiving increasing attention from the academic and industrial communities.
To explore the development trends and new directions of proton-conducting ceramics and hydrogen energy technologies, guide scientific and technological workers in related fields to carry out technological innovation, and promote the application of proton ceramic conductors in the field of hydrogen energy, the 2nd China Proton Conducting Ceramics and Hydrogen Energy Technology Academic Conference is jointly organized by the Solid State Ionics Sub-committee of the Chinese Ceramic Society and Yancheng High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It will be held in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province on September 8-10, 2023, co-hosted by Jiangsu Zhaoke New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Yancheng Institute of Technology, and Jiangsu Yuanda Group Co., Ltd.
This academic exchange conference will include plenary sessions, invited talks, oral presentations, poster sessions, and field visits to hydrogen stations.
